Privacy Policy

Alpha Labor Co. (“Alpha Labor,” “we,” “us”) operates alphalabor.com and a set of internal tools used only by Alpha Labor employees and contractors. This policy explains what personal and business data each of those surfaces handles.

Public website

Our public site collects information you voluntarily submit via contact or quote forms (name, company, email, phone, project details). We use that information only to respond to your inquiry and to operate our business relationship with you. We do not sell it.

The site uses standard analytics (page views, referrer, approximate location from IP) to understand traffic patterns. It also runs advertising measurement tags from Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI, which set cookies to tell us which ads lead to calls and crew requests (OpenAI’s __oppref and __obref cookies last 30 and 365 days). Visitors who arrive from a Google ad may see a Google forwarding phone number so Google can count calls from the ad. We do not sell your information, and you can clear or block these cookies in your browser.

Alpha Labor Invoice Scraper (internal QBO app)

The “Alpha Labor Invoice Scraper” is an internal-only integration that connects to Alpha Labor’s own QuickBooks Online company file under OAuth2 authorization from Alpha Labor. It reads invoice, customer, and attachable records solely to mirror weekly timesheet totals and crew counts into Alpha Labor’s internal Airtable base for operational reporting. It is not distributed to third parties, is not installed on any QuickBooks company other than Alpha Labor’s own, and does not share QBO data with any outside service.

• Data accessed: invoices (DocNumber, customer, amounts, line items), attachables (timesheet PDFs), and customer/job names.
• Data stored: the extracted hours and crew counts are written only to Alpha Labor’s own Airtable base and to the local workstation that runs the scraper. Nothing is uploaded to any third-party service.
• Retention: QBO access tokens are stored locally on the authorized workstation under 0600 file permissions and rotate on a 100-day refresh cycle. Timesheet PDFs are archived locally for audit.
• Right to revoke: Alpha Labor can disconnect the app at any time from the QuickBooks “Apps” panel; this invalidates all tokens.

Wage Advance SMS Notifications

Alpha Labor operates an internal wage-advance signing service (“Alpha Labor Wage Advance Notifications”) that sends one-time SMS links to active Alpha Labor employees who have verbally requested a wage advance from a field-operations manager. Recipients are limited to W-2 employees and 1099 contractors of Alpha Labor; the program is not offered to the public.

• What we collect:employee name, personal mobile phone number, the advance amount and repayment plan chosen by the employee, and the employee’s Cash App tag or Zelle handle entered when they sign.
• How it’s used: solely to send the one-time signing link, render the signed agreement PDF, route the advance funds to the correct payment handle, and track repayment via payroll deduction. We do not use SMS-collected data for marketing or advertising of any kind.
• Sharing:phone numbers are transmitted only to Twilio Inc. (our messaging service provider) and to the recipient’s mobile carrier for delivery. Personal mobile information collected by the SMS program is not shared with any other third party or affiliate, and is not sold or transferred for marketing or promotional purposes.
• Retention: the signing-link record (including phone number) lives in our Vercel KV store for 10 days from issuance; the signed agreement and repayment ledger are retained in the company Airtable base for the legally required record-keeping period. Employees may request deletion of their record after their balance reaches zero by emailing the address below.
• Opt-out: employees may text STOP to (772) 677-0419 at any time to immediately stop all future SMS messages. Text HELP for help. Standard message and data rates may apply.
