Either. We work alongside your crew, or we take a whole building, roof, wall package, or steel package start to finish for you. Use us for a whole roof, half a roof, or a few extra hands on your roof crew, and the same goes for walls and steel. Jobs normally start at 2 to 5 hands and go up to full crews, and every order, even 2 hands, comes with an Alpha foreman. No. We don't take barndominiums, pole barns, post-frame buildings, garages, homes, or other small buildings, and we don't work directly for property owners, sell buildings, or give lump-sum estimates. We supply hourly PEMB crews to the erector or general contractor on commercial, industrial, and data center jobs. If you own the property and want a building put up, look for a local builder or post-frame contractor that takes residential and farm work; the dealer or manufacturer that sold you the building can usually refer one.

By the hour. We bill the hours our crew works, not a per-square-foot or lump-sum price for the building. Per-square-foot erection pricing, like the ranges in our cost guide, is how the erector or GC that holds the erection contract prices the job to its own customer. We supply the crew to that firm.

Yes. We carry the license, registration, and workers' compensation coverage required to legally put crews on the ground in every U.S. state, including the four monopolistic workers' comp states — Ohio, North Dakota, Washington, and Wyoming — where many national subs are not set up to work. About 85% of our work is on hyperscale data center campuses, which are concentrated in specific geographies, but we mobilize anywhere a commercial or industrial building is going up.

Our EMR is 0.71. We have logged more than 2,000,000 manhours with zero recordable injuries, and our crews have worked on 17M+ sq ft of PEMB and IMP. Every foreman runs OSHA-compliant daily JHAs and pre-task plans. We bring our own fall protection, rigging, and PPE — we do not show up empty-handed and borrow the GC's gear.

Every employee is E-Verified at hire — no exceptions. We carry general liability and workers' compensation on our own policies, and we routinely enroll in owner- and contractor-controlled insurance programs (OCIP/CCIP) on hyperscaler and large commercial projects. We provide COIs, W-9s, and prequalification packets within hours, not days.

For a 4- to 15-person supplemental crew, we can typically have boots on site within 24 hours anywhere in the continental U.S. Larger deployments — 50 to 300 hands for a data center campus — require a planning window, but we have turned around full hyperscale mobilizations in under two weeks when the schedule demanded it. Travel, per diem, and lodging are handled on our side.

Our smallest jobs are normally 2 to 5 hands, with an Alpha foreman, added to a GC's or PEMB erector's own crew when they are short-handed. Our largest active deployment is a 300-person workforce on a multi-building hyperscale data center campus. Generalist agencies send warm bodies and hope they stick. We only hire tradespeople with documented experience in the trade we send them for, and every hire goes through a skills screen plus a reference check with prior foremen. Our retention is high because our guys are paid as tradesmen, not as day laborers. The result: the crew that shows up Monday is the same crew that finishes the building.

Every worker is a W-2 employee of Alpha Labor Co. — no 1099s, no undocumented subcontracting, no "I-9 later." We run E-Verify at hire, keep clean I-9 files, and we are routinely audited by GC compliance teams and owner reps on hyperscale projects. If a jobsite requires badging, background checks, or drug screens, we handle it before mobilization.

Commercial general liability, workers' compensation in all 50 states (including the monopolistic states), auto, and umbrella coverage at limits that satisfy hyperscaler and top-tier GC requirements.
