Alpha Labor Co. is the largest specialized pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) erection workforce in the United States. We supply PEMB erecting companies with the field-proven crews they need to execute — on hyperscale data centers, industrial facilities, and large-scale commercial projects nationwide.
We are the only company in the United States that hyperfocuses exclusively on pre-engineered metal building erection manpower at a national scale. While generalist staffing agencies spread across 100 trades, we go all-in on one — and our crew quality, production rates, and safety record prove the difference on every project.
PEMB erecting companies that work with us don't get a generalist labor pool. They get the most experienced, credentialed, PEMB-specific erection workforce available anywhere in the country — crews who know the iron, read erection drawings, and arrive ready to produce from hour one.
From four-man supplemental crews to 300-person deployments on hyperscale data center builds, Alpha Labor is the only call you need to make.
Get Your Crew →700,000+ hours and zero injuries. That's not luck — it's a hiring filter, a daily jobsite standard, and a non-negotiable culture enforced from the top down. Our 0.71 EMR protects your insurance rate, keeps OSHA off your site, and keeps your schedule alive.
Every PEMB erector is tiered and assessed before deployment — Level 1 through Senior Foreman. We don't send warm bodies. We send people who know the difference between a girt and a purlin, can read an erection drawing, and execute without supervision.
We don't just send people — we make sure your project is healthy. Field operations managers with 10+ years in PEMB oversee every deployment. When you tell us your problem, we already know the answer. We've lived it. We execute on that knowledge, precisely.
Before steel moves, our crew walks the site. Anchor bolt layout, projection, and thread condition verified against erection drawings. Base plates confirmed. Every discrepancy corrected before the crane mobilizes — not discovered mid-lift when it costs real money.
How you stage is how you build. Our field ops managers — 10+ years each in PEMB — sequence every package before erection begins. Framing sorted by bay. Hardware to the BOM. Secondary steel by row.
Braced bay first — always. Our PEMB erectors establish the braced bay, work outward bay by bay, maintain plumb and alignment continuously, and do not final-torque until the building is square.
Primary frame locked in. Secondary steel goes on — purlins, girts, flange braces, sag rods. Then roofing, wall panels, insulation, and IMP via vacuum lifters and coordinated crane work.

Alpha Labor Co. was founded by a Pre-Engineered Metal Building erector who built his career on job sites and saw firsthand what erecting companies needed most: crews that show up ready to produce — not people who need managing.
Three things drive everything we do: safety, quality, and production — in that order. We don't just send people. We make sure our customers' projects are healthy.
Unlike traditional staffing companies, our field operations managers have 10+ years in the PEMB industry. They know every manufacturer system, every erection challenge, and every decision point before it comes up. When you tell us your problem, we already know — because we've lived it. We pair your needs with the right crew and dispatch them precisely. No shooting and hoping. We execute.
Whether we work alongside your existing crew, operate completely independently, or are handed a specific scope — roofing, walls, trim, IMP, structural steel — we do it all. You win the contract. You bring the equipment. We bring the crew, the field management, and the production precision your project needs to finish on time and on budget.
Every scope below we've executed hundreds of times. No generalists. No learning curve on your schedule or your dime.
Primary and secondary structural steel, anchor bolts to ridge cap. Every major manufacturer: Butler, Nucor, BlueScope, Varco Pruden, Chief, Robertson-Ceco. Our PEMB erectors build from the slab up.
Request Crew →IMP wall and roof installation — vacuum lifter operation, crane coordination, and joint sealing to commissioning spec. Hyperscale data center experience: Meta, Google, xAI, Amazon, Vantage.
Request Crew →Standing seam, R-panel, and exposed fastener systems to manufacturer spec. Correct fastener patterns, proper lapping, ridge detailing that seals. We don't leave callbacks behind.
Request Crew →Liner panels, metal wall panels, and insulated wall systems installed plumb, level, and to spec. Side wall, end wall, wainscot — full scope or individual task.
Request Crew →Single and double-layer blanket insulation, vapor retarders, and specialty systems for energy code compliance on commercial and industrial builds.
Request Crew →Flatwork and site concrete crew support. Same vetting standard, different substrate — for when you need production on the slab before the steel goes up.
Request Crew →IMP installation on a hyperscale data center is not the same as hanging panels on a warehouse. Tighter tolerances. More complex sequencing. Vacuum lifters, crane coordination, and joint sealing to commissioning spec — this is a skilled, specialized operation with zero margin for error.
Our IMP crews have worked production schedules on hyperscale builds across the country. We know OCIP enrollment, site-specific safety inductions, and how to onboard fast into a GC-controlled site without becoming someone else's critical path problem.
Every Alpha Labor PEMB erector is E-Verify enrolled, properly classified, and covered under workers' compensation in every state we deploy — including all four monopolistic workers' comp states where private insurance is not permitted.
Every hire is run through the federal E-Verify system. Fully documented, I-9 compliant, and eligible to work on any federally contracted, owner-mandated, or private project requiring verified workforce documentation.
Ohio, North Dakota, Washington, and Wyoming prohibit private workers' comp insurance. We carry active state fund enrollment in all four plus separate stop-gap employers' liability coverage.
Our PEMB erectors are experienced with Owner-Controlled and Contractor-Controlled Insurance Program enrollment — mandatory on most hyperscale data center builds.
Active business registrations, workers' comp policies, and payroll tax accounts in all 50 states. Davis-Bacon prevailing wage and certified payroll (WH-347) capability available where required.
Amber states (OH, ND, WA, WY) are monopolistic workers' comp states. Private insurance not permitted. We carry active state fund enrollment and stop-gap coverage in all four.

Our field operations managers have 10+ years in the PEMB industry. They know every manufacturer system, every erection sequence, and every challenge that comes up on a job site — before it comes up. They don't just send crews. They manage the health of your project from the moment we arrive to the final bolt.
When you have a problem, we don't ask you to explain it from scratch. We already know what you're facing because we've lived it. We pair the right crew to your exact need and dispatch with precision. We don't shoot and hope — we execute.
Talk to Our Team →Our management team physically visits job sites to evaluate crew fit, assess project health, and make adjustments in real time. No phone tag. No guessing.

Alongside your crew. Fully independent. Targeted scope — roofing only, walls only, IMP only. We scale and adapt to exactly what you need.

Founded Alpha Labor after years as a PEMB erector in the field. Built the company around a simple insight: erecting companies need qualified, reliable crew — not generalist labor. Safety, quality, and production are the only metrics that matter.

With a distinguished career as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Mimi transitioned to Alpha Labor in 2021. Armed with a PMP Certification, she spearheads all office operations — streamlining efficiency and ensuring Alpha Labor meets and exceeds its operational goals.

Started as a laborer in the metal building industry over 10 years ago and worked up to Senior Project Manager. Oversees all PEMB and structural steel deployments. Known for tight budget management and flawless field communication.

Began in construction straight out of high school. His combination of work ethic, detail orientation, and field-level expertise makes him the kind of manager every crew wants — and every client trusts on their job site.
The only company in the U.S. that hyperfocuses exclusively on PEMB erection manpower at national scale. No generalist labor. No 100-trade staffing board. The deepest PEMB bench in the country, period.
Our team doesn't manage from behind a desk. We go to your job site, evaluate the fit, and make sure you're getting the best we have to offer. We only win when you win.
Every PEMB erector is assessed and tiered — Level 1 through Senior Foreman — before deployment. You know exactly who you're getting and what they can run independently.
700,000+ hours. Zero injuries. A 0.71 EMR protects your insurance rate, keeps OSHA off your site, and keeps your schedule intact. Built over years of field discipline.
Not a single injury. Ever. That's what happens when safety is the first filter on every hire, the first conversation on every job site, and the non-negotiable standard across every PEMB erector we field. Safety isn't a program for us — it's how we built this company.
We respond fast, talk straight, and know PEMB. Two guys for a roof or 200 for a data center — we have the crew. Call or email and let's get to work.
